The Magical Forest
Four children who have never had much find themselves facing a Christmas with no tree and no gifts—so they do the unthinkable. They sneak into the Magical Forest, the one place they were always told never to go.
Inside, the trees grow tall as buildings and glow faintly in the dark, and something is watching. The children are small—the youngest only three, the oldest just seven—but they press on together, even as strange things begin to happen around them, faster and faster.
They never believed in miracles. But deep in the Magical Forest, with Christmas morning coming, they are about to wish for one.
